Quicker results help pets faster
Molesey Vets’ on-site laboratory houses biochemistry and haematology machines for the testing of blood and body tissues. These can measure levels of enzymes and other substances in the body for an accurate diagnosis and in some cases, can produce test results within 15 minutes.
With the facilities to provide same-day test results, our Veterinary Surgeons can pinpoint a variety of health problems quickly without necessarily turning to more invasive diagnostic methods. This also enables us to begin treatment right away, which is especially vital for pets experiencing a veterinary emergency.
Specialist laboratory services
When a patient case requires more specialised tests, we send samples to a trusted external laboratory service for testing. We use a bespoke courier service to collect our samples every night for direct transport to the laboratory. This means we can get the results back to you as quickly as possible, often the very next day. Our Vets will then contact you to discuss your pet’s results and make a plan regarding the next steps in treatment.
